The winners are drawn from the Cooperative Arina election database by Edita Prima Oy, the provider responsible for the election service. The draw is organised by technical means so that election secrecy is maintained, and votes cannot be associated with a specific cast vote.Voters' details will be used to arrange the draw, contact the winner and deliver the prize to the winner.The draw is organised by Cooperative Arina.If the voter does not want his or her details to be used in the draw, the voter can send his or her name and cooperative membership number to vaalit.arina@sok.fi no later than 23th of April 2026. In this case, the voter cannot participate in the draw.The name and municipality of residence of the winner can be published if the winner gives his or her consent, which is requested separately after the draw.Grounds for the processing of personal dataPersonal data is processed based on the following grounds:Article 6.1 (a) ConsentThe publication of the winner's name and municipality of residence is based on the winner's consent. Article 6.1 (f) Legitimate interest The processing of personal data for the purpose of organising the draw, contacting the winner and delivering the prize to the winner is based on a legitimate interest.Description of the data controller’s legitimate interestMembers entitled to vote elect the persons to represent the co-op members and to exercise decision-making power in the Council of Representatives of their cooperative. This reflects the need of the cooperatives and S Group as a whole to encourage eligible members to participate in cooperative activities by voting in the statutory elections of the Council of Representatives. The purpose of the draw is also to attract interest to the elections of the Council of Representatives.The personal data processed

After initial processing, hard copies containing personal data are stored in locked and fire-safe storage facilities. The granting and monitoring of user rights is a well-managed process. We regularly provide training for our personnel who participate in the processing of personal data, and ensure that our partners’ personnel also understand the confidential nature of personal data and the importance of secure processing. We select our subcontractors with care. We continuously update our internal practices and guidelines.If, despite all of our safeguards, personal data falls into the wrong hands, it is possible that the identity will be stolen or that the personal data will be misused. If we notice that such an event has happened, we will immediately begin an investigation and will make efforts to prevent any damage from occurring as a result.
